END OF YEAR & XMAS BREAK UP

Non Uniformed night - XMAS Gear would be good.

 

Please note that this Friday is the Break up for the Group of 2013. We have 165 attending on Friday from the numbers gathered. This is a fantastic number and I am looking forward to seeing you there.

  

What is provided on the night is a meal of Chicken (Red Rooster) and Salads. There will be an alternative for vegetarians.  I believe the above meal should cover 90%, if it will be a problem please advise.

 

If you are able to lend a hand on Friday night (time to be confirmed, post 4pm) to help set up the den with tables and Gazebos it would be appreciated if you could let me know and I will contact you once the coordinator has advised of the time. 

For those unable to attend - thank you for the year and I hope to see you all in 2014.

 We need to repair the fence line and do a general clean of the den. We are also considering painting the Office and Toilets.

Please advise if you will be attending. We seek adults mostly but we are happy to have youth members as long as they are prepared to muck in.

Cuboree Fundraiser: Family Disco

Family Disco Afternoon

Beenleigh Cub Scouts

Date: Saturday 23^rd November

Time: 4:30pm – 7pm

Cost: Gold Coin Donation

Venue: Beenleigh Scout Hall

 

Ask your family, neighbors, and school mates to come along. Everyone is welcome!!

(All children will need to be supervised by an adult as we don’t have enough adult helpers to watch all the children)

Sausage Sizzle, Cold drinks, lollies, tea and coffee, cakes stall and other snacks will be available for purchase

SHIRT ORDERS - FINAL CALL   This is your final chance to secure the new group polo shirt for $20.  Orders will be placed Nov 1 and the price will rise post this date. The group is discounting for these initial orders only. Email size of shirt.   If you have ordered already, thank you. We hope to have them before we break up.     Shirt is used for Camps, special activities (Clean up Australia Day, Car Wash) and general wear.    This shirt has been FASHIONISTA approved by Scouting members!!!

Ekka Night

As tradition now the Cub Scouts had therebannual Ekka Night. This is where they get to have a games night based on sideshow alley.

We had the following areas of fun
+ Ball in the bucket
+ minefield navigation
+ pool noodle fights
+ plank walking
+ archery to knock down stacks
+ Sudoko for cubs - grid and have to work out number grid

It was a fun night by all.
