Journey Card Meeting

On January 29, 4 new cubs were given the opportunity to go through the journey card they need to complete before being invested as a Cub Scout.

Bagheera, Rama & Dingo, plus our group secretary, Yvette, were on hand to go through the 6 sessions on what it takes to be a Cub Scout.

The cubs go through what it means to be a cub scout, why we shake with the left hand, what a good turn is, who Lord Baden Powell is, plus other activities They need to be ready to take the step in being a cub.

This is the first time we have run something like this and there were moments that will need tightening if we do it again. But all in all it was great 2 hours. The new cubs are now ready to be invested thus coming Tuesday.

I am really looking forward to 2011 as I feel we now have a great group of cubs and the 4 new cubs are going to be a great addition.
