Today the Cub Scouts went to Air Activitues. This is centered around the aerodynamics craft and activities plus an opportunity to fly in a small plane.
The activities included; - Building a glider
- Making a kite
- Navigating a map via compass coordinates
- learning rules abut flying kites, wmhere na d wehn not to fly the
- understanding how an hot air balloon works, and
- making a parachute
The Cubs Scouts had an greatt ime and the smiles on the faces as they returned from thier 15 minute flight in a 5 seater small plane was just fantastic.
